i'll come back to haunt you

[ For those that know Xion, today she might be a slightly different sight. It's not that the girl isn't friendly or nice or anything usually- she's just a little more quiet than others, still a little hesitant in some ways, and harder to get to open up. But not today. Today as she's running errands she seems to find that she keeps running into friends and acquaintances! It sure makes shopping go by faster when there are so many people to talk to. When she spots someone she "knows" she'll give them a wave and head right on over, smiling brightly. ]

Hi! Are you shopping today, too? Here, can you hold this for a second while I grab something? [ And she hands them three shopping bags with one hand as she points into a nearby store with her other. ]

[ Another day, another trip to the market, but this time it's dark and Xion isn't shopping. Instead, she's looking at the vines that have sprouted everywhere, eyes wide and face in awe. She walks closer to one, but- something else gets her attention at first. There's a small planter box full of small blue flowers... She knows these flowers. What did they mean, again? Her head hurts if she tries to think too hard about it. Why does her head hurt...? Why did this feel so... familiar...

She shakes her head forcefully to clear it, instead trying to focus all of her attention on the vines, reaching out a hand to touch the small pumpkin that's started to grow from it. ]

Oh! It's warm. [ She gives a laugh of surprise before turning to face anyone who might be around. ]

Have you seen these? They're- [ Whatever it is they are, she doesn't say, because suddenly there's a weird noise coming from down the street. Were those... hoofbeats...? ]>

Did you hear that? [ Then, almost immediately, ] Come on, we've gotta see what it is!

[ Xion's going to be wandering a lot this month, so it wouldn't be unusual to run into her anywhere. You can find her sitting at the edge of the island, looking out into the sky, or in a cafe, or inspecting the task board for something fun and exciting to do. Sometimes she looks happy, but... sometimes, especially later in the month, she'll often look confused or pained. She'll stop and stare at something or someone and look like she's wondering what to think about them, and it might take a few tries before she realizes she's even staring. ]

[ There's a seashell in her hands.

Usually, when Xion's holding a seashell, she looks much... happier. Even after all this time, all this collecting and sharing and giving, she still thinks they're beautiful. Except- today she's not smiling at all. She's frowning, looking at it intently as she clutches it like a lifeline in her hands, the wind around her blowing sand and water from the lake as she stands ankle deep in it. ]

I was... stupid. [ She finally says, quiet but forceful. Confusion colors her face, but her eyes look sad. ]

Stupid, to think I could be anything different, even here. [ There's a moment where she holds the seashell even tighter...

...then she reaches back her arm and throws it, as far as she can into the lake. ]

Stupid! [ She calls after it, louder, as the water surrounding her feet shoots up into shards of ice. ]

[ MINI KH BS EXPLANATION: in canon xion is a replica designed to absorb sora's memories and roxas's powers, SO xion's going to be absorbing sora's memories this month! this includes some canon and some specific emp memories about a lot of characters that mish has so kindly provided and which will likely pop up if your character runs into her.

xion's going to be seeing these memories from the point of view as if she were sora in them, so she'll be treating a lot of sora's friends as if they were her own and will have some trouble connecting fully with her own relationships with people, whether sora knows them or not.
